Kyanga Ball

Terms of service

Last updated 13 September 2026

The agreement

These terms are between you and Kyanga Ball Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17440144, with its registered office at 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Bury St. Edmunds, IP28 7DE. By creating an account you accept them. If you are signing up for a club, you confirm you are authorised to do so on its behalf.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

One account per person. Seats on paid plans are per named coach and are not to be shared.

What you make is yours

Working on your own, you own the sessions, drills and clips you create, and you keep every right in them.

Working as part of a club, they belong to the club. That is what a club plan is for: the staff share one set of drills, and a coach moving on does not take the season with them. If you leave a club or are taken off it, the club keeps what was made there, and we copy the drills you wrote yourself onto your own board so you do not leave empty-handed.

You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, process it to produce clips, and show it back to you and to the club members you share it with. Nothing else. We do not use your content to promote Kyanga Ball without asking you first.

Drills the computer writes

Some drills, coaching points and written descriptions in Kyanga Ball are produced by a language model from a prompt. They are suggestions. We do not guarantee that generated content is accurate, complete, appropriate for a particular age group, or suitable for the players in front of you.

You are the coach. Deciding whether a drill is safe and right for your players — their age, their ability, the surface, the weather, the equipment and anyone carrying a knock — is your judgement to make, and it stays with you. Read a drill before you run it.

Kyanga Ball is a tool for planning and explaining sessions. It is not coaching advice, not a coaching qualification, and not a substitute for the judgement of a qualified coach or for the safeguarding and first-aid duties your club already has.

What you upload

You can bring your own material into Kyanga Ball — a photograph of a whiteboard today, and in time club badges, kit colours and player photographs.

For anything you upload, you confirm that you own it or are licensed to use it, that using it here infringes nobody else’s rights, and that you hold whatever permissions are needed for us to store and process it so the service works.

Where an upload shows or identifies a child, you confirm you have the consent required for it — from a parent or guardian where that is what applies — and that your club’s own safeguarding policy allows it. We cannot check this and we rely on you. If you are unsure, do not upload it.

If you tell us something you uploaded should not be there, we will remove it.

What stays ours

Kyanga Ball itself stays ours: the software, the way it draws and animates a session, the drill library that comes with it, the coaching text and translations we generate, and the voices. Your plan is permission to use all of that to coach. It is not a transfer of any of it.

The drill library is a database we built at our own expense — writing it, checking it and presenting it — and we claim database right in it under the Copyright and Rights in Databases Regulations 1997. Use the drills to plan and run sessions, as many as you like. Do not extract or re-use a substantial part of the library, and do not extract small parts over and over, which amounts to the same thing.

Pages we host for your shared clips carry a small Kyanga Ball credit. Files you download do not.

Kyanga Ball™ is a trade mark of Kyanga Ball Ltd. A UK trade mark application, number UK00004441380, was filed on 6 September 2026 in classes 9 and 42. It is an application; it is not yet registered.

None of this touches what you make yourself. A drill you draw is yours, as set out above.

Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful content, infringe anyone’s rights, attempt to break or overload the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or resell access to it.

Do not use Kyanga Ball, or anything it produces, to build, train or improve a product that competes with it. That includes using our drills, our generated text or your exported clips as training data for a machine-learning model.

Use your clips to coach your players, explain a session, or promote your own coaching — that is what they are for. Do not redistribute them as a library, a collection or a stock catalogue, whether or not you charge for it.

Do not collect content from the app in bulk, by script or otherwise.

Exported files carry a short code identifying the account that made them, so a clip can be traced back to its source. It is not personal information and it does not affect playback.

Exported clips carry a watermark on the free plan. Removing or obscuring it breaches these terms.

Plans, limits and payment

The Starter plan is free. It includes the whole studio and three clips in total — three altogether, not three a month — and you can share those clips by link with anyone you like. They carry a Kyanga Ball watermark. Downloading the file is part of the paid plans.

Paid plans lift those limits as described at the point of purchase.

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part-used periods except where the law requires it.

We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Availability

We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it down for maintenance, and will give notice where we reasonably can.

We keep backups, but you should keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like from your account settings.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, giving notice and a chance to put it right unless the breach is serious. If we close your account without cause we refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 if you are on a free plan. We are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, or losses that were not reasonably foreseeable.

If you use the service for a business, you are not a consumer and consumer protections do not apply to you.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
